The Truth Seeker Company is the oldest, continuously published
small press in America, today. Our journal is the oldest freethought
publication in the world, originally published in 1873.
Truth Seekers are freethinkers. Our philosophy is called freethought.
We follow a long and rich tradition of people who have contributed
positive ideas to our global community.
Vision:
Our vision is to build a better world and our goal is simple:
Improve yourself and teach by example.
You can find some interesting reading, such as 400 Years
of Freethought by S.P. Putnam, The Biographical Dictionary
of Freethinkers by J.M. Wheeler, and The Age of Reason
by Thomas Paine in our Bank
of Wisdom.
Mission:
Our mission is to support the ideas stated in the Declaration
of Independence, that every man, woman and child has the right
to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To achieve this
mission, our educational outreach includes books, video tapes,
audios, CDs and seminars.
We see no reason for organized religion or the political states.
However, this does not mean we do not believe in government.
